Aha! Spring is the perfect time to talk about this release from Crash Island, a dark tropical indie-rock band rising up out of London.
According to the band Dreamwaves “explores dreamier terrain than its predecessors, where compelling, hypnotic mantras give way to body grabbing rhythms and lurking, atmospheric choruses.”
Our point of view? The release has hot summer days written all over it. Beach trips, driving off in to hazy sunsets, and teenage flings with girls before they fly back off to their own corner of the world.
It’s lovely, and admittedly we aren’t sure exactly how different it is from their previous work. But one thing is for certain, this EP has found its way on to my iPod, atleast until September.
Verdict: Add this to your dreamy summer soundtrack.
