Retail Therapy: Magazine Brighton

Whoever said ‘print is dead’ never stepped in to Magazine Brighton. The small independent store situated on Trafalgar Street in the North LainesĀ is a celebration of good old fashioned printed copy. Every cover is a work of art in itself and the store itself feels more like a gallery than a store. These are not mags you would pick up in WH Smiths and throw away once you’ve read the stories of interest. They are more akin to vinyl, with each copy clearly desiring to be cherished by their owner.

I picked up a copy of Looklateral, whose simplistic bright cover I took a shine to, and I am sure this will be the first purchase of many at the store.

I thoroughly recommend popping down there and taking a look, especially if you are a fan of beautiful publications. Long live print!
