The Local Record Store Brighton Music

brighton music blog record collectionThis is a brilliant idea and I cannot wait to pop in. ‘It is what it is’ are hosting a pop up record store focusing solely on Brighton based musicians.

Here’s the description from their Facebook Event page:

“A record store but selling music and merch from local bands.

Anyone that lives in Brighton knows there’s a great array of local bands. Now you can come to a one-stop-shop to pick up their CD, Vinyl, Tape, T-Shirt etc.

We are opening this shop during Record Store Day to give Brighton an option to support the local bands.

Every evening there will be an intimate gig as well as music workshops and on Sunday a Vinyl swop shop.

All bands get to keep 100% of the sales so come down and support local bands.

13th – 19th April
In our pop-up – It Is What It Is 102 Gloucester Road, North Laine, BN1 4AP.

This project is run by Foreign Skin, somewhereto_ and Pop-Up Brighton
