Preview: ‘Infamous’ by The Waters Sisters @ Brighton Fringe – May 2015

Infamous art preview Brighton Fringe

I am no stranger to strangeness and so it’s with a fair amount of excitement I bring you this preview. As part of Brighton Fringe Fest, Infamous will take place in Hove at The Dukebox Theatre on Saturday 2nd, 9th & 16th. The press release states that ‘Infamous’ “is inspired by and drawn from one woman’s experience of a psychotic episode. ‘Infamous’ is a dreamscape narrative; a triptych of archetypes – the mystic, the hero and the iconoclast outlaw.

It continues by noting that The Waters Sisters will take me on a “hypnotic, confounding journey.

The reason I am so excited, is because I have a feeling this is going to bend my reality a little. I took a look at the photos attached to the press release, and instead of answering questions they simply baffled me further. See the one at the top of this article? What is going on? Why is that person wearing a Transformers BumbleBee helmet?

‘Infamous’ has left me feeling curious, and that has to be a good thing right? I’m definitely going to go see it, simply in hope that it will answer these questions now flooding my brain.
